Costa del Sol's Star-studded Skyline Glows Brighter with Grand Opening of a 27-Million-Euro Luxury Retreat!

Just when you thought Costa del Sol couldn't possibly sparkle any brighter, the Mett group decided to drop a 27-million-euro cherry on top! Unveiling their premier Spanish venture, this luxurious five-star sanctuary graces Estepona's beachfront with 253 plush rooms, following a significant makeover of the former Iberostar property.



This debut doesn't just mark Mett's first Spanish footprint but also its second worldwide, with its inaugural banner fluttering in Bodrum, Turkey. With this move, Mett and the Hotel Investment Partners (HIP) - one of Southern Europe's heavyweight holiday hotel owners, managed by Blackstone funds - show how a bit of vision and a heap of investment can transform a property, enhancing the guest experience.

Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) takes the managerial reins of the resort, now christened 'Mett Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella-Estepona'. The design ethos interweaves the simplicity of modern minimalism with the vibrant charm of Andalusian style. Drawing inspiration from the balanced, breezy Mediterranean lifestyle, the hotel's materials and furnishings offer a cultural nod to the locale.

Eco-consciousness shines through with over 500 photovoltaic panels installed, and the pièce de résistance - the large outdoor pool - is surrounded by rooms boasting private swimming pools. The gastronomic landscape is just as impressive, offering a multi-cuisine spread that includes the southern Italian-inspired Isola Ristorante, Ammos Greek Restaurant (which also recently graced Ibiza with its presence), and the cool, casual Azure Beach Club. The cherry on top is Lola's Bar, a brand-new poolside concept exclusive to this resort, serving up a scrumptious selection of local tapas and wines, in an ode to Spanish cuisine and culture.

But the indulgence doesn't end at the palate. Guests can retreat to the 500-square-metre Moi spa, complete with an indoor pool, a gym, and a host of treatment rooms - because a stay at Mett isn't just a stay, it's a holistic experience.
